EDC Week Las Vegas 2026 Nightlife Guide — Clubs, Guestlist & What to Expect

By Tonite · Las Vegas Nightlife Host · 10+ Years Vegas Nightlife Updated April 2026

EDC Week is the single biggest nightlife week of the year in Las Vegas. I've worked the clubs through 10+ EDC Weeks. Here's what nobody else will tell you — what changes, what still works, and exactly how to plan so you're not figuring it out when you get here.

When Is EDC 2026?

EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) 2026 runs May 14–16 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Nightclub activity ramps up the Tuesday before and peaks Thursday through Sunday of the festival weekend. If you're in town for any part of that week, this guide applies to you.

How Vegas Clubs Change During EDC Week

Normal weekend rules do not apply during EDC Week. Here's what's different:

1. The DJ Roster Goes S-Tier

Every major electronic artist in the world is in Las Vegas for EDC. Hakkasan, OMNIA, and the other EDM venues book their biggest acts of the entire year during this window. We're talking headliners who would headline a major festival playing in a club environment. The production is extraordinary.

2. Guestlist Availability Drops Significantly

Standard guestlist works year-round at almost every top Vegas venue on almost every night. EDC Week is the exception. The venues know demand is at its annual peak. Guestlist spots for the big EDM nights fill weeks in advance, and some nights require tickets regardless of list status.

Bottom line: If you want the flagship EDM experience at Hakkasan or OMNIA during EDC Weekend, you need to start planning weeks ahead — not the week of your trip.

3. Prices Are 2–3× Normal

Cover charges and table minimums during EDC Week typically run 2–3× the standard rate. A table that normally starts at $800 might be $2,000+. A cover that's normally $20–30 might be $60–80. This is not price-gouging — it's basic supply and demand during the highest-demand week of the year.

4. The Crowds Are Different

EDC Week draws festival-goers from all over the world who have one thing in common: they live for this music and this experience. The energy inside the clubs is unlike any other week. It's also much more packed than a standard weekend.

Venue-by-Venue EDC Week Breakdown

Hakkasan (MGM Grand) — The EDC Week HQ

Hakkasan is the epicenter of EDC Week clubbing. The Hakkasan booth is one of the most sought-after EDM experiences in the world — massive main room, world-class sound, the highest-tier DJ roster of the week. This is where you go if the music is your priority.

Plan: Book early. Hakkasan EDC Week nights sell out or fill guestlist within weeks of lineup announcements. Don't wait.

OMNIA (Caesars Palace) — The Spectacle

OMNIA during EDC Week is sensory overload in the best way. The kinetic chandelier, the rooftop, the production — it's extraordinary when paired with an EDC-caliber lineup. Three distinct room experiences means the whole floor is active.

Plan: Similar to Hakkasan — book early. Main room EDM headliner nights fill first.

TAO Nightclub (Venetian) — The Breather

Not everyone wants EDM every night of EDC Week. TAO's open format gives you a break from the festival energy while still being at a world-class club. Thursday Worship Night at TAO and the general weekly programming continues through EDC Week and typically has more guestlist flexibility than the EDM venues.

Plan: More accessible than Hakkasan/OMNIA during EDC Week. Good option for the beginning of the week or if you want something different on one of the nights.

TAO Beach Dayclub (Venetian Rooftop) — The Daytime Move

EDC Week dayclubs are incredible. You're partying poolside with the same world-class artists who just played the festival. The 2026 TAO Beach EDC Week lineup is stacked — Porter Robinson, DJ Snake, ILLENIUM, and Steve Aoki across four days. Dayclubs during EDC Week are arguably the best-value experience of the entire week.

Plan: Text me early. EDC Week TAO Beach is popular but still has more accessibility than nightclub nights.

JEWEL (ARIA) — The Underground Move

JEWEL doesn't go full EDM during EDC Week — it stays hip hop and open format. This makes it one of the better options if you're in a mixed group or someone in your crew isn't an EDM head. Lower minimums, great programming, and better guestlist availability than the EDM venues during EDC Weekend.

EDC Week Guestlist Strategy

What to Do Right Now (Before EDC Week)

Text me today with your dates and what venues interest you. Tell me whether you want the flagship EDM experience (Hakkasan/OMNIA), the dayclub experience (TAO Beach), or a more mixed night (TAO/JEWEL). I'll tell you exactly what's available, what requires tickets, and what pricing looks like. Then we make a plan based on real-time availability — not what you read on a random website.

What Happens If You Wait

By the week of EDC, you'll be looking at ticket-only options for the flagship nights, 2–3× prices for whatever's left, and limited choices. Vegas during EDC Week is not forgiving to last-minute planning.

EDC Week Tips From 10 Years Inside

The Bottom Line

EDC Week is the best and most intense nightlife week in Las Vegas. If you're here for it, plan early, go hard on dayclubs, and build a mix of EDM nights (Hakkasan/OMNIA) and non-EDM nights (TAO/JEWEL) so you don't burn out by Wednesday.
