How the Guestlist System Actually Works

Every major nightclub in Las Vegas works with a network of official promoters who have direct access to the club's booking system. When a promoter adds your name, it shows up the same way a host inside the club would add it. It's not a separate list that gets checked differently — it's the same system.

The problem is that most "guestlist sites" you find on Google are aggregators. They collect your info, charge a fee or sell your data, and route it to random promoters they don't vet. Your name might or might not actually make it into the system. At the door, you find out.

What You Actually Need to Do

Find a real nightlife host who works with the venues you're going to. I work directly with TAO Nightclub, Hakkasan, OMNIA, Marquee, JEWEL, LAVO, and the dayclubs — I put your name in directly.

Text me your: name, date, venue, how many ladies and how many guys. I confirm within 60 seconds. Deep texts you a confirmation. Head to the VIP/Guestlist entrance night-of and give your name.

What You Pay

Ladies: free on standard nights. Guys: free up to 4, no ratio required. That's it. No hidden fees, no "discounted cover," no bait-and-switch.

TAO Nightclub (Venetian)

Best overall club in Vegas for a first-time or mixed group. Open format music means everyone's happy. Ladies get free open bar the first hour on the guestlist. The outdoor terrace on a warm Friday night is one of the most underrated experiences on the Strip. If you don't know where to go, start here.

Hakkasan (MGM Grand)

Best for EDM. The production is genuinely unmatched — 5 levels, world-class DJ roster, main room that hits different. Most people don't even know there's a hip hop room upstairs. One pro tip: Friday not Saturday. Same DJ lineup, half the wait time. Hakkasan on a Friday is the best value in Vegas nightlife.

OMNIA (Caesars Palace)

Best for the experience. The kinetic chandelier in the main room stops people. 3 rooms including a rooftop with Strip views. This is the one you go to when you want to say you've been somewhere genuinely insane. Tuesday night is underrated — locals crowd, relaxed vibe, way less packed.

The Verdict

Bachelorette / mixed group → TAO. EDM heads → Hakkasan Friday. Visual experience / first time → OMNIA. Want something chill and local → JEWEL Monday.

Every tourist in Vegas goes Saturday. That's exactly the problem with Saturday. Here's the insider schedule that locals and industry people actually follow.

TAO Nightclub → Thursday

Thursday at TAO is the most slept-on night in Las Vegas. Same DJ talent, same iconic venue, same energy — and the crowd is maybe 60% of what Saturday is. You can actually move around. The outdoor terrace isn't a wall of people. Locals know this. Now you do too.

Hakkasan → Friday

Saturday at Hakkasan is usually the same DJ as Friday. The lineup is identical. The only difference is that Saturday has significantly longer lines and a more packed floor. Friday at Hakkasan is the exact same experience with way less stress.

OMNIA → Tuesday (if you want local energy)

Tuesday at OMNIA is the locals and industry night. It's not what you'd call a full production night, but the crowd is real Vegas people and the vibe is completely different from a packed Saturday tourist crowd. Worth experiencing at least once.

JEWEL → Monday

Monday at JEWEL is the best-kept secret in Vegas nightlife. This is where Strip workers go when they're off. DJ and hospitality industry folks, locals, people who actually live here — it's an entirely different crowd than tourist weekend nights and it's genuinely one of the best experiences in Vegas if you know it exists.

Palm Tree Beach Club (MGM Grand) — NEW in 2025

This is the replacement for Wet Republic, which was one of the most iconic pool parties in Vegas history. Palm Tree Beach Club opened Summer 2025 and is already one of the hottest dayclubs in the city. Full redesign, new concept, same MGM Grand location. Runs Drift Wednesdays as a weekly series. Weekend programming Friday through Sunday. Text me early for holiday weekends — those spots go fast.

TAO Beach Dayclub (Venetian)

Rooftop pool at the Venetian. Runs Thursday through Sunday during pool season. Daybreak Thursdays is the signature series — the Thursday pool scene in Vegas. Top-tier DJ talent in an outdoor, daytime setting. Great option for groups who want pool energy without the full weekend madness.

Marquee Dayclub (Cosmopolitan)

One of the top dayclubs in Vegas for overall production quality. Poolside Sundays is the weekly series. Same high-energy experience as Marquee Nightclub but in the afternoon sun. Friday through Sunday. Strong for groups who want the full production dayclub experience.

Liquid Pool Lounge (ARIA)

The Wednesday Dip is the mid-week series. More relaxed vibe compared to the bigger dayclubs — great for groups who want a pool day without the full production intensity. Also runs Friday through Sunday. Good option if you're doing pool + nightlife the same day.

Which Venue to Choose

TAO Nightclub is my first recommendation for 90% of bachelorette groups. Free entry, free open bar the first hour for ladies, open format music so everyone's dancing, and the staff is experienced with bachelorette groups — they know how to make it special. Marquee is a close second with the same perks. OMNIA if your group wants the most visually stunning experience in Vegas.

What You Pay

Ladies are free on the guestlist on standard nights. That means your whole group of ladies pays zero cover. Zero. The free open bar perk at TAO and Marquee runs the first hour — again, free. If you have guys in your group, up to 4 are free per RSVP with no ratio required.

When to RSVP

Bachelorette groups are big planners — most text me weeks or months ahead. Same-day works fine for standard nights, but for holiday weekends, major headliner nights, or if your group is 15+ people, text me early so I can sort logistics.

What to Tell Me

How many people, what dates, what vibe (dancing to hip hop vs EDM, more relaxed vs high-energy), and whether anyone in the group has preferences. I'll sort the rest.

The ratio system — where guys need equal or more ladies to get in free — still exists at the door for walk-ups. It does not apply when you go through me directly.

What You Can Actually Do

Up to 4 guys get in free on the guestlist with no ratio. That covers a lot of groups. If you're 4 guys or fewer, text me, get on the list, show up, walk in free.

For Larger All-Guy Groups

Text me and we'll figure it out together. For groups of 6–10 guys, a table reservation is often the math that actually makes sense. Splitting a $1,200 table 8 ways is $150 each — often less than paying a cover individually plus drinks at the bar. And you have a guaranteed spot, no door issues, dedicated space.

My Top Pick for Bachelor Parties

JEWEL at ARIA on a Thursday or Monday. Lower minimums than the bigger clubs, great hip hop energy, and the door is more approachable for larger guys groups. Monday at JEWEL is the industry night — a genuinely great experience that most tourists never find.

What to Avoid

Don't show up at a major Saturday night with a large all-guys group without a plan. You'll pay cover, wait longer, and have more stress than necessary. Plan ahead, text me, and I'll make sure your night is sorted before you arrive.

I book both constantly. Here's the honest breakdown of when each one actually makes sense.

The Real Cost of a Table

TAO standard nights: $500–$1,500 minimum. Hakkasan: $600–$2,000. OMNIA: $500–$2,000. JEWEL: $400–$1,000 (best value). Add 20–25% for tax, tip, and venue fee. A $1,000 minimum costs about $1,250 out the door. Holiday weekends: 2–3x those numbers.

When a Table Makes Sense

Group of 6 or more people splitting — the per-person math often works out to less than cover + bar drinks separately. Major headliner night where guestlist is limited — table guarantees your entry. Large guys-heavy group — table eliminates all door complications. You want a dedicated home base for the night — table gives you a spot to drop bags, rest, and regroup.

When to Just Use the Free Guestlist

Group under 6 people. Standard non-headliner night. You want to experience the full club — move around, explore multiple rooms. You're on a budget. The guestlist is genuinely free on standard nights. Use it.

The Move Nobody Talks About

Combine them. Get on the free guestlist for entry and drink at the bar inside. If the night escalates and you want to upgrade, text me and I can often arrange a table upgrade from inside the club.

I see people get turned away at the door for dress code violations every weekend. Here's what actually gets you denied vs what's fine.

What Gets You Turned Away (For Real)

Athletic sneakers — especially chunky white sneakers. Baseball caps and flat-brimmed hats. Shorts on men. Athletic wear — gym clothes, joggers, sweatpants. Sandals or flip-flops on men. Overly torn or ripped clothing. Work boots.

What's Actually Fine

Clean leather or suede sneakers — Nike Dunks, Air Force 1s in clean condition, common at Hakkasan and JEWEL. Fitted jeans with a button-down or clean tee. Chinos or slacks. Dress shoes or loafers. Blazer — instant upgrade, never get questioned.

The Venue Matters

Hakkasan and JEWEL have the most lenient dress codes of the major clubs — cleaner sneakers and jeans are regularly fine. TAO and OMNIA are slightly stricter on footwear. Marquee falls in the middle. Pool parties obviously are more relaxed — swimwear, cover-ups, sandals are standard.

If you're questioning whether something is okay — it's not. Dress up one level from wherever your head is at and you'll never have a problem.

The Free Guestlist Is Real

Ladies free, guys free up to 4 with no ratio — this is your baseline. You can go to TAO, Hakkasan, OMNIA, or any other top Vegas venue on a standard night and pay zero cover. This is not a promotional claim — it's how the system works when you go through an actual promoter.

Pre-Game at the Hotel

Drinks inside Vegas clubs are $14–$18 per cocktail. Pre-gaming at your hotel before heading out saves money significantly and is standard practice for everyone from tourists to locals. Arrive at the club at 11pm instead of 9pm — the energy is better anyway.

Avoid the Obvious Traps

Don't pay full cover at the door ($30–$60 per person on a Friday) when the guestlist is free. Don't buy tickets from third-party resellers. Don't pay for drinks in VIP areas you don't have access to. Don't go on a headliner Saturday night and expect the free guestlist to work — those nights require tickets and the list fills.

JEWEL on a Thursday: Free on the guestlist, great hip hop energy, lower minimums if you decide to get a table, and a more manageable crowd. Easy night, great experience, minimal spend.

EDC Week is the biggest nightlife week of the year in Las Vegas. Everything operates differently during this week — pricing, crowds, logistics, guestlist availability. Here's how to navigate it if you've never been.

When Is EDC Week?

EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) typically runs in May, with the festival itself at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The nightclub activity peaks the Thursday through Sunday of the festival weekend.

How the Clubs Change During EDC Week

Every major DJ in the world is in Las Vegas for EDC Week. Hakkasan, OMNIA, and the other EDM-focused venues book the biggest acts of the year during this window. This means: tickets are often required even for guestlist-type access, prices are 2–3x standard, and the guestlist fills weeks in advance. Start planning early.

What Still Works

TAO Nightclub and JEWEL are often better alternatives during EDC Week for people who want a great night but don't need the specific EDM headliner experience. Hip hop energy at JEWEL remains consistent, lines are more manageable, and guestlist still works if you text me early.

The Smart Move

Text me 2–4 weeks before EDC Week with your dates. I'll tell you exactly which nights have guestlist availability and which ones require tickets. Don't wait until that week — by then your options are significantly limited.

S-Tier: Best in Class

TAO Nightclub — Consistently excellent for almost every type of group. Open format, free open bar guestlist perk, iconic terrace, 10+ year legacy. Never disappoints.
Hakkasan (on Friday) — The best EDM experience in Las Vegas. Production is unmatched. S-tier on Friday, A-tier on Saturday because of the crowd density.

A-Tier: Excellent

OMNIA — The chandelier is S-tier. The overall experience is A-tier because it's so dependent on which room you end up in.
Marquee — Great all-around club. Strong on all three nights it runs. Free open bar perk on guestlist.
JEWEL Monday — S-tier if you're there for the industry night experience, A-tier otherwise.

B-Tier: Good

JEWEL (standard nights) — Solid club, best for hip hop fans and groups who want something more intimate.
Palm Tree Beach Club — New in 2025, still establishing itself. Strong start, trending upward.

Pool Tier List

Marquee Dayclub and TAO Beach are consistently top-tier for pool party production. Palm Tree Beach Club is the new hotness. Liquid Pool Lounge is the most relaxed and underrated.

EDM Headliners at Hakkasan & OMNIA

Tiësto, Fisher, Alesso, Jonas Blue, Deorro, Elderbrook, Laidback Luke, Cedric Gervais — these acts rotate through Hakkasan and OMNIA throughout the year. Major headliner nights require tickets and early planning. The guestlist fills weeks in advance for these acts.
