I book tables for groups constantly. Here's the honest math behind Vegas bottle service — real minimums, what you actually get, and the formula I use to decide when a table is worth it versus when the free guestlist is the smarter move.
How Vegas Table Service Actually Works
When you book a table, you're reserving a physical space — usually a booth or standing section — with a minimum spend requirement. That minimum goes toward bottles of liquor (which come with mixers) and sometimes bottle service packages. Your dedicated server takes care of you all night. You have your own space regardless of how packed the club gets.
What you're paying for: priority entry (host check-in, separate from the guestlist line), guaranteed space all night, and service.

Important: These are minimums, not total cost. Add 20–25% for mandatory service charge, tax, and venue fee. A $1,000 minimum walks out at approximately $1,200–$1,250.
The Math That Makes Tables Worth It
Here's the formula I use for every group that asks:
Group Size 6+ on a Special Occasion → Table Usually Wins
Six people splitting a $1,000 JEWEL table (on Thursday): $1,250 out-of-pocket ÷ 6 = ~$208 per person. That covers your entry plus your share of a bottle of premium spirits. Buying those drinks at the bar individually at $15–18 per cocktail and you'd spend more over a three-hour night anyway — plus you waited in a different line and didn't have a guaranteed space.
Group 4 or Less → Free Guestlist Usually Wins
A $1,000 minimum split 4 ways is $250 each. You're paying for service and priority entry, which is nice — but the free guestlist line is already fast, and $250 per person for a small group is steep. Go guestlist, drink at the bar, spend what you feel like spending.
Major Headliner Night → Table Might Be the Only Option
On the biggest EDM nights at Hakkasan and OMNIA, guestlist availability is extremely limited. A table may be your most reliable path to guaranteed entry and a great experience. The premium is higher, but you're removing all uncertainty on the biggest nights.
Venue-by-Venue Table Recommendations
Best Value: JEWEL at ARIA
JEWEL consistently has the lowest minimums of the major Vegas venues and the most accessible table experience. Thursday night at JEWEL: $600–$800 starting minimums, great hip hop programming, industry-night crowd. The best entry point into Vegas table service. I recommend JEWEL tables to most groups doing bottle service for the first time.
Best Overall Table Experience: TAO Nightclub
The garden terrace tables at TAO are unlike anything else. Outdoor, intimate, open air — bottle service in what feels like a premium outdoor lounge. For groups who want the full TAO experience with a reserved space, the terrace tables are exceptional.
Best for Spectacle: OMNIA
Booking a rail table at OMNIA during a major headliner night — looking directly at the kinetic chandelier while it's in motion — is a genuinely unforgettable experience. Higher minimums, but worth it for a special occasion.
Best for EDM: Hakkasan
If you're a serious EDM fan and want the best seat in the house for a top-tier DJ, Hakkasan's main room tables are the move. The booth is world-class and you'll be close to the action. Expensive on headliner nights, but it's the best EDM table experience in the world.
What Tables Don't Include (That People Assume They Do)
- Free drinks for everyone all night. The minimum covers your bottle package. Additional drinks are extra. Know this going in.
- A specific table location. Unless you've requested and confirmed a specific table section, you get what's available. Ask me to specify when you book.
- Guaranteed entry without waiting. You still check in with a host — it's just a different, faster line than general admission.
